The Gracious is my singer/songwriter and photography project – I believe that music and photos are two sides of the same creative coin – and both are best when they can be shared experiences. Live music performances are special because they are never the same. Whether on the stage or in the crowd, these experiences are truly shared among everyone who is present. Songwriting is storytelling, and the same is true of a photograph – to me, both are creative expressions that are about capturing a moment, evoking a mood, and framing the world through your own perspective.
In the music world, the three-song ‘High Desert Sessions’ EP was released in March 2025. Recorded in Joshua Tree, CA, the songs lean toward alt-country and draw inspiration from the likes of Wilco, Aimee Mann, Tom Petty and Beck. I brought my various passions together at the official EP release party event which featured a live performance with special guests. plus a pop-up photography gallery. Looking ahead, recording songs for the Goodness Vol 2 EP begins in May 2026!
In addition to ongoing photo/video work with Philly musicians and artists, 2026 projects include return visits to Nashville, TN to photograph the 615 Indie Live music festival, and Austin, TX for three showcase performances at South By Southwest 2026.
